In 2023, Flix partnered with Animal Care Trust to create a heartfelt fundraising film about Marty, a Labrador puppy diagnosed with kidney and liver failure. While the film was 2D, we used 360° VR technology to plan our shoot at the Royal Veterinary College Hospital. By virtually mapping out filming locations, we were able to minimise stress on Marty and other animal stars, ensuring a smooth production. The result was a touching story that highlights the incredible care at Animal Care Trust, while showcasing how VR can help plan sensitive shoots in healthcare settings.
