Breaking Taboos: World’s 1st Hospice’s VR Tour
Hospice care often carries misconceptions, with many fearing it as a dark, final destination. To challenge this, Flix partnered with Royal Trinity Hospice to create the world’s first virtual reality hospice tour. Rather than static 360° images, we designed a welcoming, 7-minute guided experience. From being greeted by the CEO to exploring art therapy, patient gyms, and serene gardens, viewers are supported every step of the way, showcasing the vibrant life within the hospice.
Hospice at home nurses are now able to offer patients a headset glimpse of the hospice and in doing so VR is helping transform fear into trust, proving that hospice care is about living well, not just the end of life.
